For my birthday, we were at a huge member families home, and Elder Morgan told them it was my birthday so the whole house burst into song. And my zone leaders got the senior primary in their ward to sing for me too. It was adorable! Then a member invited us over and taught us how to make no bake cheesecake. After that, it was back to work!
We’ve been teaching this one less active lady who goes to Mexico every weekend, and we taught her on Saturday. Before we finished she asked if we had any pamphlets to give her. So we gave her a plan of salvation, restoration, and gospel of Christ pamphlet.
She wanted these pamphlets so she could teach her brother in Mexico! That was super awesome!
Transfers are coming up on the 5th — since Elder Morgan has been here for about five months (three transfers if you count this one) I had a theory he’s gonna get moved out this coming transfer. But… he is now a district leader! So it looks like we’re staying as companions here in San Luis!
I’ve started to get a lot better at Spanish and at comparing gospel principles in just about every situation. We have this game we play where we point out an object and relate it to the gospel. It’s super helpful.
