Halloween Lockdown

Hello again everyone! I realize I haven’t told you where I’m at, so I’ll start by answering the geography question while I’m looking at this map here. So last transfer I was in more central Chandler/northern Gilbert area. Now I’m in more southern Chandler/Gilbert area.

Apart from that, this week was pretty alright. We had the two other trunk or treats, so that was fun. Then Halloween we were locked inside with 4 other elders. So we just hung out and played magic and Catan while being dorks. I’ve got a picture from one of the trunk or treats, but it’s kind of blurry.

We found a Hispanic family of about 6 who are pretty cool. They like talking about Jesus and are super family oriented. I was also stoked because it’s the closest I’ve had to Spanish work in about 4 months. We’ve got a member of the seventy coming down on Friday for a mission conference. So that’ll be cool! I’ll write about what happens next week.

We also got a referral from a member who’s about to go on his mission to Tonga. So we had a cool lesson last night. We have to refer the guy though because he lives way outside the mission.

I got a new suit from one of the elders that we live with. It’s too small for him, and all I need to do is tailor the pants by 2 inches, and there’s a senior missionary in our district who tailors stuff. So I have a new suit! Which is nice because my black one is way to tight now.

That’s all I have now. Love you all!
